The New Hotel "Pesek" is situated in a small village called Pesek, 10 km from Trieste, near Slovenia and not far from the motorway. The hotel is managed by its owners, Karis & Sons, who have more than 20 years'experience in the business.
Furthermore, nature-lovers can find plenty to do in the surroundings.
For example, there are many footpaths leading to the top of Mount Concusso. Within a short distance, guests can also pay a visit to the numerous natural and archaeological sites, e.g. the famous Val Rosandra, the Roman aqueduct, the caves of Borgo Grotta Gigante and Postumia. Guests just cannot return home without visiting the city of Trieste first, with the famous Miramare, St. Giusto and Duino castles and taking a final photo in the beautiful Piazza dell'Unitŕ d'Italia.
The New Hotel "Pesek" is immersed in the green of the Carso plateau. It is surrounded by a marvellous garden and a large parking place. It houses 13 rooms and, together with the 7 rooms of the already existing Restaurant Hotel "Pesek", reaches a total of 20 rooms, which makes it an ideal solution for large groups.
The elegantly furnished rooms are equipped with all comforts such as satellite TV and balconies. A lift is also available.
The rustic style of furnishing can be admired in the hall.
The restaurant has two dining rooms, accommodating a large number of guests, and offers a wide range of specialities as well as a vast choice of wines from the Carso and Collio areas. The excellent position of the hotel enables residents to enjoy a wonderful view of the gulf of Trieste.
Coming from the A4 motorway, after Lisert, take the last exit for Padriciano and drive on to Basovizza, where you can follow signs for Pesek.
